Moon at Half Past Noon

We live realities through a prism of dreams, thoughts & visions.

For example, our jobs may be a dull tipper-tapper. However, there are moments when eyes shine with a secret gleam. Especially, when the latest Netflix movie shimmers on the phone. Or, when a reel or short blows up like an IED and laughter, mischief or cringe begin to course through our veins. As if, we just took a dip into the holy waters, or as if we are on a flight to Mars while the rest of the world couldn’t afford the flight.

In seconds, our mundane lives evaporate and a dance of dreams & fantasies begins to gyrate. The monstrous office politics turns into a laugh-riot of a stand up act. Dry, wet and soggy sandwiches turn into gourmet meals with a swipe of the little fingers. Imagine this, a couple lying at two sides of the bed. Their phones portals unto past and future flash into their faces, tales of great romances and glamorous daze of passion. Both transported separately into a common fantasy, another life.

May be reality lies silent between the spaces of crumpled spirits and hot desires.

When dreams and fantasies of faraway worlds and exotic aspirations are so real, freedom and free choice are mere spectators.
