Saying, I love you

Saying that I love you

Is it the pining heart

Is it the gripping sense

Of the time fleeting by

The space collapsing

Shrinking, until just the beloved remains

Saying, I love you

Is it I that loves you

Or, Is it you that I love

Is it I that loves me

What is this fear

What is this ecstacy

Saying, I love you

I owe you, you owe me

I own you, or you own me

Is it Us that seeks we

Or is it me that seeks me

We cease and I remains

Or is it I that is aflamed

When the bodies dance and sing

The words are easier

The butter of the craving souls

All-spice of the lonely hearts

Makes the days and night revebrate

The turf becomes a sifting surf

Fearless, I and you ride

A boat on four steady feet

An island we thus create

When does it cease

Saying I love you

An icky shiver

A snake of a sliver

Love lost of its sheen

Partners in hate

The conundrum

Shall I live or leave

The nectar fermenting poison

What treachery mind may weave

Meaning I love you

Neither I nor you

The pearl of this world

And everything in its view

Beyond details of

What is beautiful

What feels nice

When there is no need

Of the touch nor the scent

When the mind is an ocean

And we its wave

When there is no desire

When the heart doesn’t crave

We crash on to everything

As if a silent rave

We are one we are all

We are everything

We are nothing

Just staying in love

Not saying I love you

Just meaning to love

And living without meaning to

Saying I love you…
